Lines that lie II

Wallpaper print, 193×270; 40 Monotypes, different sizes, 2021

This is the second print part of the series Lines that lie. While the process remains the same as before, this time it developed into a multidimensional and performative format. After the print was installed, I continued to work while the exhibition was open.

The work was going to be destroyed with the closure of the exhibition, so as an attempt to preserve it I started to paint over the wallpaper print with oil by selecting specific parts of the print, and in-print on the paper in reverse, thus creating several monotypes.

Through out the process of repetition and multiplication of the elements of entangled wires, are created interconnected creatures resembling human figures.
